Capital rail communication with other parts suspended

Rail communication between the capital Dhaka and most other parts of the country has been suspended as a train derailed near Tejgaon station in the city this evening.
Officer-in-Charge of Dhaka Railway Police Station Ferdous Ahmed Bishwas confirmed the matter to BSS.
He said the incident took place as the locomotive of the Dhaka-bound Titas commuter train hit a crane, which was engaged in the Dhaka Elevated Expressway project, around 5.30pm.
