DNCRP conducts drive to keep price of onion under control
The Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) has conducted countrywide drives to keep the price of onion under control as well as to keep its supply chain intact following uptrend in price of such essential item after India imposed a ban on onion export.
Officials at the DNCRP said that four separate teams of the directorate have conducted drives in various parts of the Dhaka metropolitan.
Besides, different teams headed by divisional and district level officials of the DNCRP also conducted drives in the kitchen markets of 54 districts to keep the price of onion under control.
