Holidaymakers leave Dhaka hanging on train doors
The overcrowded Ekota Express bound for Panchagarh departed from Dhaka Kamalapur Railway Station on Saturday at 10:16am, entering through the train doors was like a battle. Many passengers bypassed this struggle by entering through the windows. Ultimately, the train left the station with passengers hanging on the doors.
This scene of Eid journey was observed at Dhaka Railway Station on Saturday. Eid holidaymakers were seen hanging on the doors, heading towards their destinations.
A passenger on the Ekota Express, Al Amin, said: “I am lucky to get a seat, many are standing. Everyone was waiting to go home, so whether standing or sitting, getting home is what important to them.”
