Bhashani death anniversary observed in Tangail

The 48th death anniversary of Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani was observed in the town with enthusiasm today.
Different political and socio-cultural organization including Vice chancellor of Maulana Bhashani Science and Technology University Professor Dr Anwarul Azim Akhand and Gano Adhikar Parishad placed floral wreaths at the mausoleum of Bhashani grave at Shantosh in the town this morning.
Mourning rally, discussion and a Doa Mahfil were also organized on the occasion of Bhashani death anniversary in Tangail. A seven-day long Mela was kicked off at the shrine of Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani today. A huge number of Bhashani disciples gathered at his shrine.
