6 grenades, ammo recovered in city

Police have recovered six hand grenades, nine magazines and 726 bullets from Banani DOHS area.
Tipped off, a team of Cantonment Police conducted a drive in the area and recovered the firearms, grenades and bullets from near the bank of No 5 Road Lake in an abandoned condition around 7:30 pm on Sunday.
On information, a team of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime (CTTC) units rushed to the spot and made the hand grenades inactive.
