Govt. to reform media based on commission report: Nahid

Information and Broadcasting Adviser Md Nahid Islam today said initiative would be taken to reform the media on the basis of the report of the Media Reform Commission.
Adviser Nahid said this in a meeting with a delegation of UNDP and UNESCO in his office at Posts and Telecommunications Division, according to a ministry press release.
Nahid Islam, also Adviser of Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology, said, media is one of the pillars of democracy and that is why Media Reform Commission has been formed by the interim government to ensure media freedom.
