Law-and-order situation improving: Army Chief
Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman on Tuesday said the situation in the country is improving as the Bangladesh Army is sincerely performing its assigned duties to improve the law-and-order situation.
He instructed all the army personnel to extend support to the civilian administration and the people of the country with patience and professionalism considering the overall situation of the country, said an ISPR media release.
The Army Chief came up with the remarks when he attended a Darbar arranged for all ranks of soldiers serving in 7th Infantry Division and Barishal area and during Officers Address for Army officers on Tuesday.
Earlier, he visited the 7th Infantry Division and Barishal area.
