5 arrested, 355 sacks of Indian smuggled sugar seized

NETRAKONA: Police seized one truck and one pick up loaded with 355 sacks of smuggled Indian sugar and arrested five alleged smugglers from Chandan Kandi area on the Netrakona-Kendua road today.
Police said, acting on a tip off, a police team from Netrakona Model police station rushed to spot and seized the vehicles with sugar and nabbed five persons.
