Benapole-Khulna-Mongla commuter train resumes operation

The Khulna-Benapole-Mongla commuter train has started its operation today after 11 days shut down during quota reforms in government services and anti-discrimination students movement.
The Rail Way authority stopped the operation on Khulna-Benapole-Mongla route from last July seeming people security during country wide anarchy, vandalism and arson activities.
The Betna express has also resumed its operation on August 1, but the authority closed its operation till August 3 while law and order situation were deteriorated.
