Annual prize giving ceremony held

The Annual sports, cultural competition and prize giving ceremony were held in Nilphamari Govt. Women College on Tuesday morning.
Principal of the College Professor Md. Obaidul Anwar presided over the function while Director of Secondary & Higher Education, Rangpur Region and Professor Md. Amir Ali attended the function as the chief guest.
Among others, Nilphamari Govt. Women College Vice-Principal Professor Mohammad Shahojahan, Nilphamari Govt. College Principal Professor Md. Mahabubur Rahman, Professor Elias Ahmed, Moshiur Rahman Degree College Principal Md. Sohidul Islam, Nilphamari Govt. Women College Ex- Principal Riziwana were present there as the special guest. Professor Mohammad Shahojahan delivered the welcome speech.
Assistant Professor of Bangla Department Juwel Islam and Assistant Professor of History Department Azijur Rahman Tota conducted the whole program jointly. All the college staff, employees and students attended the programme spontaneously.
Professor Md. Amir Ali Said, “Only traditional education does not make a student perfect at the present competitive world. So, co-curriculum activities are very important to make sure her competent. A student should come forward to play Football, Cricket, recite poem and sing song.
” Professor Obaidul Anwar said, “Our College has a reputation of conducting such kinds of programs. I believe these programs will make the students fit for the competitive world. This tradition of arranging programs will be held next year also.”
