Students asked to serve nation
The annual sports event of Galaxy School and College was held on the institution premises in Bera upazila town of Pabna district recently.
Galaxy School and College has earned a reputation as one of the top-performing educational institutions in Pabna, with many of its students securing admission to medical colleges and other higher educational institutions. Currently, the institution has 1,400 students pursuing their studies under the guidance of 48 dedicated teachers. Over the years, the school has shown remarkable improvement in academic performance across the district.
The day-long sports event took place at the Bera College Field and was attended by senior journalist and talk show personality M.A. Aziz as the chief guest. Addressing the students, he urged them to develop a patriotic mindset and dedicate themselves to serving the nation.
"Discipline makes a person perfect," he emphasized, adding that sports and physical exercise play a crucial role in building strength, which is essential for progress. He also advised students to stay away from the negative effects of social media.
Among the notable speakers were M.A. Hannan, President of Bera Press Club, district leaders of the District Kindergarten Association, Bera Upazila Education Officer, and other local dignitaries.
As part of the event, a mid-day meal was provided to all attendees.
