A prize distribution ceremony was held at Alhera School and College, Bera, on February 27 at its campus. Md. Moniruzzaman, ADM, representing the Deputy Commissioner of Pabna, attended as the chief guest.
The special guests included Md. Morshidul Islam, UNO of Bera; Md. Rostom Ali Helali, District Secondary School Education Officer, Pabna; Mohammed Ali Fakir, representing Fozlur Rohman Fakir; Md. Moksud Alam Chowdhury, former principal of the institution; and Dr. A. Based Khan.
Additionally, ATM Fozlur Rohim, Deputy Secretary (Retd.), Col. ATM Jamilur Rohim, and Col. (Retd.) Rasidunnabi attended as guests of honor.
Most of the speakers shared cherished memories from their educational journey. However, a noteworthy moment occurred when Md. Moksud Alam Chowdhury, former principal, delivered a firm statement during his speech. He emphasized that no irregularities, particularly in admissions, would be tolerated at the institution. His remarks left a strong impression on the audience.
Currently, more than 3,000 students are pursuing their education at Alhera School and College.
During the event, Col. (Retd.) Rasidunnabi announced that scholarships would soon be awarded to outstanding students. He also cautioned students about the negative effects of excessive mobile phone usage and stressed the importance of maintaining a strong teacher-student relationship.
The event concluded successfully under the leadership of Md. Hakimul Kabir, Principal of Alhera School and College, who ensured smooth coordination of the program.
