Protest rally against Israeli attacks on Gaza held
A massive protest rally was held in Bera today following Jumma prayers, condemning Israel continued military offensive in Gaza. Thousands of Muslims participated in the demonstration, calling on the international community to take urgent notice of the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Speakers at the rally accused Israel, backed by the United States, of carrying out indiscriminate attacks that have devastated the region. According to reports, more than 60,000 people have been killed in the conflict so far, with around 90 percent of Gaza infrastructure reduced to rubble. Hospitals, clinics, schools, and colleges have also been targeted, drawing sharp criticism from rights groups worldwide.
Protesters expressed frustration at the inaction of global institutions, including the United Nations, the Arab League, and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), alleging that these bodies have failed to hold Israel accountable.
Demonstrators demanded immediate international intervention to stop what they described as a "massacre" and called for justice for the victims of the conflict.
