"The AL does care whatever BNP holds its one or ten-point movement as Awami League is not afraid of any movement," he said.
Agriculture Minister and Awami League Joint Secretary Dr Muhammad Abdur Razzaque on Thursday said they have all capacity to give all kind of political answers of Bangladesh National Party (BNP).
He said the ruling Awami League (AL) is not scared of the threat of BNP’s movement as the party (AL) has come to the power through street movements.
"The AL does care whatever BNP holds its one or ten-point movement as Awami League is not afraid of any movement," he said.
The minister made these comments while he was exchanging views with local journalists after visiting the Organic Medicinal Plant Nursery at Kholabaria village in Natore Sadar upazila of the district on Thursday morning.
Among other, Natore-1 constituency MP Shahidul Islam Bakul, Natore -2 constituency MP Shafiqul Islam Shimul, Farmers League General Secretary Umme Kulsum Smrity, Department of Agriculture Extension Director General Benjir Alam, Rice Research Institute Director General Mirja Mofajjal Islam, Natore Deputy commissioner Shamim Ahmed, Police Super Loton Kumer Shaha, Sadar upazila Chairman Shariful Islam Ramjan were present in the function.
The minister said the AL’s rival Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) might be weak in street demonstration, but has a strong base of supporters.
Over the upcoming elections, Razzak also invited the opposition party men to join the election.
