New School-feeding programme in 150 upazilas soon

COXS BAZAR: Secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Farid Ahmed today said the School feeding programme will be launched in 150 upazilas of the country as soon as possible in a new format.
"Through this, a new horizon will be uncovered in the field of primary education and thus it will lead to building a developed and prosperous Bangladesh," he added.
The secretary said this while addressing the National Dissemination Workshop on the analysis of the Findings and Factors of the National Student Assessment-2022 organized by the Directorate of Primary Education at a city hotel as the chief guest, a press release said.
Highlighting the benefits of the new School feeding programme, Farid Ahmed said this time, children will be served nutritious biscuits along with different kinds of foods which attract them.
