Man sentenced to death for killing wife in Shariatpur

SHARIATPUR: A court here today sentenced death penalty to a man for killing his wife in Bhedarganj upazila of the district in 2021.
Judge of District Women and Children Repression Prevention Tribunal Md Sohel Ahmed handed down the verdict to Raja Mia Bepari, 35, hailed from Bakaul Kandi village in the upazila.
The court also fined him Taka 20,000.
