"The Cage" is set to become an exciting new platform in Bangladesh, aimed at showcasing and nurturing young musical talent. This unique talent show seeks to cultivate a culture of creativity and artistic excellence within the Bangladeshi rock music scene, providing emerging artists a national stage to share their skills, passion, and creativity.
More than just a competition, "The Cage" is a journey of growth, collaboration, and self-discovery, offering contestants a supportive environment where they can thrive. Beginning with nationwide online auditions, the show will select the top 100 candidates for live nationwide auditions. Through intense knockoff rounds, the field will be narrowed to the top 40 contenders, ensuring only the most promising talents move forward in the formation of rock bands.
Guiding these aspiring artists is a renowned judging panel featuring Ranjan from Arbovirus, Rafa from AvoidRafa, Palash from Warfaze, and Tashfee. An impressive lineup of guest judges and mentors, including Tridib from Mechanix, Bakhtiar from Bay of Bengal, Cezanne from Artcell, Riasat from Arekta Rock Band, Tashwin from Calypso, and solo popular artists Tahsan, Elita, and Mila, will add further expertise and charm. Hosting the show will be Alif Alauddin and supported by Jamshed from Powersurge, creating a supportive and energetic atmosphere for all participants. Aslo present Creative designer Avishek Bhattachajee, S.M Hasinur Rahman (CEO Live2web) & Lighting Designer Mohammed Ridwan On 13th November at 4 pm, "The Cage" held an official press conference at the Holiday Inn Dhaka City Centre to provide further insights into the show and its journey to uncover fresh musical talent across the country. This event promised an exclusive preview into the show vision and the thrilling experiences awaiting audiences.
