BOU working to be paperless university: VC
Bangladesh Open University (BOU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Syed Humayun Akhter today said that the BOU authorities are working to make the university paperless one keeping pace with the government activities to build the country as Smart Bangladesh by 2041. "D-Nothi is important for increasing the speed of works, sustainable development, transparency and accountability. BOU is working to establish itself as a paperless university to this end," he said. The BOU VC said these while speaking at the inaugural function of Skill development training on use and implementation of D-Nothi on the university campus in Gazipur, said a press release here. University Grants Commission (UGC) Member Professor Dr Md Sazzad Hossain addressed the function as the chief guest while BOU Pro-VC (administration) Professor Dr Nasim Banu and Treasurer Professor Mostafa Azad Kamal, and UGC Information Management, Communication and Training (MICT) Division Director Dr Sultan Mahmud Bhuiyan spoke as special guests.
