Prof ASM Maksud Kamal appointed as DU VC

Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) of Dhaka University (DU) Prof Dr ASM Maksud Kamal has been appointed as the 29th Vice- Chancellor (VC) of DU as current tenure of VC Prof Md Akhtaruzzaman will expire on November 2 next.
President Mohammed Shahabuddin, also the chancellor of the university, today appointed him as the VC of the university temporarily, said a gazatte of the education ministry signed by Joint Secretary Md Mahmudul Alam.
