Rokomari launches book donation initiative for marginal libraries

Online bookstore Rokomari.com has recently launched a book donation initiative to address the shortage of books in libraries across rural and remote areas of Bangladesh.
Through this programme, the company aims to distribute over 20,000 books to more than 500 libraries nationwide. The initiative targets libraries in villages, char areas, hilly regions, schools, and madrasas to enhance educational opportunities for underprivileged communities.
Mahmudul Hasan Sohag, chairman of Rokomari.com, highlighted the company commitment to promoting literacy, saying: "Over the past 12 years, we have delivered more than 50 million books to readers. Now, we want to contribute to those who lack access to books - because a single book can change a child future."
