General election to be held as per constitution: Quader

Awami League (AL) General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader today said the next general election will be held as per the constitution.
"The next parliamentary election will be held under the present government . . . This election will be held in a free and fair manner," he told a function at the Laboratory School and College of Dhaka University here.
Presidium Member of Awami League Jahangir Kabir Nanak, Joint Secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Organizing Secretary Sujit Ray and AL senior leaders, among others, were present at the function with President of Relief and Social Welfare Secretary AKM Rahmat Ullah in the chair.
