Mymensingh Hi-Tech Park to be youths’ new address for employment: Palak
State minister for information and communication technology Junaid Ahmed Palak has said that Mymensingh Hi-Tech Park will be a new address for the employment of young generation.
He said that if it was introduced, the youth of the area would not have to go to Dhaka or abroad for employment.
The state minister for ICT said this while exchanging views with journalists after laying the foundation stone of ‘Mymensingh IT Hi-Tech Park’ at Kismat Rahmatpur in Sadar Upazila of Mymensingh on Wednesday.
Mentioning that specialized labs are being set up in 33 universities of the country for research on advanced technology to tackle the Fourth Industrial Revolution, Junaid Ahmed Palak said that these labs would make significant contribution in building knowledge-dependent and advanced economy from Bangladesh to smart Bangladesh.
Earlier, the state minister laid the foundation stone of Mymensingh IT Hi-Tech Park at Kismat Rahmatpur in a simple ceremony.
Senior government officials and local leaders of the Awami League were also present.
