Ziaur finishes 11th in Open Int Chess

GM Ziaur Rahman finished eleventh place in the 32nd Open International Chess Tournament of Cavala that concluded today (Friday) at Kavala of Greece, said a press release.
GM Ziaur Rahman earned 6.5 points out of nine games and tie for the seventh place, but he finished eleventh position after the tie-breaking system.
Besides, FM Tahsin Tajwar Zia became 24th with six points.
The eight or penultimate round games were held on Thursday last with FM Tahsin Tajwar Zia won against FM Nikhil Dixit of India and GM Ziaur Rahman split point with IM Mohammad Nubairshah Shaikh of India.
