National Club Cup Sevens Rugby begins Friday

The Cristal Insurance PLC National Club Cup Sevens Rugby Championship will begin on Friday (May 16) at the Paltan ground adjacent to the National Stadium in the capital. A total of 24 clubs from across the country, split into eight groups, will compete in the two-day meet, organized by the Bangladesh Rugby Federation Union (BRFU). In this regard, a press conference was held at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium to provide all the details of the tournament. BRFU General Secretary Akhter Uz Zaman, Vice President Abu Mohammad Sazzad, Tournament Committee Secretary and BRFU Member Ashraf Uddin Ahmed, Additional Managing Director and Company Secretary of Cristal Insurance PLC M Mahfuzur Rahman, and other BRFU members were also present at the press conference.
