July Smriti Foundation distributes Tk 26 crore among 1,140 victims families

July Shaheed Smriti Foundation has so far distributed over Taka 26 crore among 1,140 families of victims of the student-people uprising.
The information was revealed at the third central executive council meeting of July Shaheed Smriti Foundation held at the State Guest House Jamuna here tonight.
Presided over by Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus, the meeting was attended, among others, by Health Adviser Nurjahan Begum, Social Welfare Adviser Sharmin S Murshid, July Shaheed Smriti Foundation Chief Executive Mir Mahbubur Rahman Snigdha and its General Secretary Sarjis Alam.
It was informed in the meeting that Taka 107.75 crore has been deposited in the July Shaheed Smriti Foundation fund as of November 30, 2024.
