Verma for reinforcing Bangladesh-India interdependencies

Indian High Commissioner in Dhaka Pranay Verma has expressed hope to further reinforce the existing interdependencies between Bangladesh and India through more robust linkages in connectivity, culture and commerce.
He made the remark while addressing a musical event on Friday evening at the Indian Cultural Centre in Dhaka marking the 53rd anniversary of "Maitri Diwas", a press release issued by the Indian high commission said here this afternoon.
On December 6 in 1971 India recognized Bangladesh as an independent, sovereign nation, ten days before Bangladesh achieved its liberation.
