National election by June 30, 2026: Press Secretary

The next general election will be held by June 30, 2026, Chief Adviser Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has said.
“The chief adviser has declared a clear roadmap from which it is evident that the election will be held by June 30, 2026," he said while briefing reporters over the current issues at the Foreign Service Academy on Tuesday.
The press secretary made the remarks about the possible election schedule a day after Chief Adviser Dr Yunus announcement that the next national election can be arranged during a time between the end of 2025 and first half of 2026.
