ECNEC approves 10 projects worth Tk 1,974 crore

The Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) today approved a total of 10 projects involving an overall estimated cost of Taka 1,974.30 crore.
The approvals came from a meeting of the ECNEC with its Chairperson and Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus in the chair, held at the NEC Conference Room in the city Sher-e-Bangla Nagar area.
Of the total cost for 10 projects, Taka 1,642.98 crore will come from the government exchequer while the rest of Taka 331.32 crore from the respective organization own fund.
Of the approved 10 projects, seven are new while three are revised projects.
