July Declaration to be discussed with political parties: Press Secretary

As part of the process to prepare a declaration on the July uprising based on a national consensus, the interim government will soon discuss it with political parties, Chief Adviser Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam said on Sunday.
“We can only say that it is being discussed and will be discussed with the political parties in the coming days. And we hope that you will see more progress on this issue in the future,” he said, adding that they have received several phone calls regarding further progress on the July Declaration.
Alam was briefing the media at the Foreign Service Academy in the evening. CA Deputy Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad Majumder also spoke at the briefing.
