Govt. determined to strengthen local government

Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus has said the present government is determined to further develop and strengthen local government institutions aimed at delivering full benefits of July Revolution to people.
“We are determined to further develop and strengthen local government institutions and to deliver full benefits of the July Revolution to the people as they are our biggest asset,” he said.
The Chief Adviser said this in a message on the occasion of the National Local Government Day tomorrow.
“People must be engaged more with various development activities of the new Bangladesh, achieved at the cost of supreme sacrifice of the July uprising martyrs.
The Chief Adviser extended his heartfelt greetings to all members of the local government division and local government institutions and people of the country on the day.
