To prevent malpractice, the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee has issued a set of stringent directives.
Legal action will be taken against anyone involved in question paper leaks, spreading rumours, cheating, or other irregularities, the committee said.
Students must arrive at exam centres at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Exams will begin with the multiple-choice (MCQ) section, followed immediately by the written or creative part, without any break in between, according to the committee.
Candidates must correctly fill in their roll number, registration number, and subject code on the OMR sheet and ensure that their answer scripts are not folded. They are also required to pass the MCQ, written, and practical components separately, the guideline said.
Only scientific calculators will be allowed in the exam halls, while carrying or using mobile phones is strictly prohibited for everyone except the centre secretary, it added.
Following the release of results, students will have the option to apply for re-evaluation via SMS within seven days.
This years examinations will commence with the Bangla First Paper and conclude with the Bangla (Compulsory) Second Paper and Easy Bangla Second Paper.
All theoretical exams will be held from 10:00am to 1:00pm on the scheduled dates, while practical exams are slated for May 15 to 22.
