Chief Adviser, 13 advisers pay tributes to Liberation War martyrs at Savar
SAVAR: Chief Adviser of the newly formed interim government Dr Muhammad Yunus and thirteen advisers paid homage to the martyrs of the Liberation War by placing wreaths at the National Memorial in Savar this morning.
At first, Dr Yunus placed the wreath around 10am amid heavy rain and stood in solemn silence here for some time as a mark of profound respect to the memories of the martyrs of the 1971 War of Liberation.
A smartly turned-out contingent drawn from Bangladesh Army, Bangladesh Navy and Bangladesh Air Force presented a state salute on the occasion when bugles played the last post.
