Students to break syndicates behind commodity price hike

Students will work with the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) in market monitoring across the country to break syndicates behind the rising prices of daily commodities.
Bin Yamin Mollah, one of the coordinators of Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, made the announcement after a meeting at the office of the directorate in the capital Karwan Bazar today (11 August).
DNCRP Director General AHM Shafiquzzaman said, "Based on the discussions in the meeting, guidelines will be developed for involving students in the market monitoring activities conducted by the directorate."
