Modi-Biden meeting discussed Bangladesh situation: Indian foreign secretary
Issues related to Bangladesh were discussed during a bilateral meeting between Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and US President Joe Biden, reports Indian Express citing India Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri.
The US president hosted Modi at his personal residence in Wilmington, Delaware yesterday (21 September) and the two leaders held wide-ranging talks covering various key aspects of India-US ties.
Vikram Misri noted that the two leaders had discussed the Bangladesh situation during their phone conversation last month as well. Modi had flagged the situation of minorities, including Hindus, in Bangladesh.
