Tourist limit to be imposed on St Martin Island: Rizwana

Measures will be taken to limit the number of tourists and restrict overnight stays on St Martin Island, Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan said today (7 October).
Single-use plastic on the island will also be banned, the adviser to the Ministry of Environment, Forest, and Climate Change told a briefing at the Secretariat.
The briefing also covered discussions on eco-friendly tourism management and the conservation of biodiversity on St Martin Island.
