Nazrul thoughts similarly relevant to all eras: DU VC

Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman today said Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam extraordinary ideas and philosophy of humane, non-communal, non-discriminatory and inclusive society, reflected in all of his works are equally relevant to contemporary era.
"Inspired by the values of Nazrul, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman took and implemented various initiatives to build an exploitation-free, discrimination-free and inclusive society through a long struggle", said Akhtaruzzaman.
The Vice Chancellor was addressing a discussion at the graveyard of Kazi Nazrul marking the 47th death anniversary of National Poet Kazi Nazrul Islam at Dhaka University Campus.
