    CUB offers Executive MBA with 60% discount
    Canadian University of Bangladesh has its own campus which is located in Pragati Sarani of the capital, Merul Badda area.The university is conducting the admission process for Spring 2023 semester Where professionals can do Executive MBA at 60 percent discount.
    MBA degree is the most wanted degree nowadays. All qualifications related to administration and management are acquired through this degree. The field of employment for these degree holders is expanding very rapidly. For example: Banks, Insurance, Airlines, Telecom, Beale Estate Company, Government-Private Institutions, NGOs, All Private Companies and Corporate Offices in all executive and managerial posts, people are chasing this degree to fulfill the job requirements. Subjects in which MBA can be done include finance, marketing, accounting, human resource management, supply chain and operations management etc. In this case usually one subject has to be chosen as major or major.     STS to introduce Glenrich International School
    STS Group is going to introduce a premium school in Bangladesh, Glenrich International School, to address evolving educational needs and prepare learners for a competitive world.
    A brand launching and logo unveiling event was held at a hotel in the capital Monday. Khondoker Monir Uddin, managing director of STS Group, Manas Singh, CEO of STS Group, and Ramesh Mudgal, principal of Glenrich International School, were present.
    The event started with an informative presentation on Glenrich International School, which will follow the Cambridge curriculum, followed by the name and logo unveiling programme.
    Manas said: "We are introducing a new school named Glenrich International School that will offer 21st-century education to its students in a caring and nurturing environment. With this launch, we are completing the first phase of our dream project of launching four new schools in the next few years."

    Programming Contest of Huawei Starts
    A 14 days online programming challenge powered by Huawei is going to be started tomorrow. This open competition is coming on the occasion of the 45th ICPC World Finals. Anyone can join this challenge and win USD 15,000 and more.
    This 45th ICPC World Finals Challenge powered by Huawei has two challenging tasks from different business domains – Central Software Institute and HiSilicon. The participants are free to register for any or both problems to solve.
    Each problem will have its own scoreboard and own prize fund. One champion of each problem will get USD 15,000 and the travel trip to the 46th Annual ICPC World Finals in a guest role. The winners rank from the 2nd to 6th of each challenge will get USD 8,000 and Rank the 7th to 16th will get USD 3,000. There will be Huawei FreeBuds also for the winners ranking 17th to 46th.
    The 1st problem has been aptly described as ‘Designing tomorrow’s microprocessors using today’s benchmarks built from yesterday’s programs. One of the approaches for addressing these challenges is to complement application benchmark suites with synthetic benchmarks. In this question, program control flow generation is abstracted to draw a route on a directed graph. The route and the graph with MIC closest to the input will be the winner.
    And the 2nd problem is about job scheduling and data assignment. Here, the goal is to design an efficient task scheduling algorithm, that can assign tasks to different computing units, and store the data to different memory disks, such that the overall make-span.     Patrick re-appointed as NDUB VC
    Notre Dame University Bangladesh (NDUB) Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. Father Patrick Daniel Gaffney, CSC, has been reappointed by the honorable President of the country who is also the Chancellor of the university, Md. Abdul Hamid.
    A gazette notification signed by Dr. Md. Farhad Hossain, Deputy Secretary, was issued by the Education Ministry on August 22 in these regard.
    In conformity with section 31 (1) of the Private University Act, 2010, with the approval of the President, this second appointment of Father Patrick Daniel Gaffney as the Vice-Chancellor extends for a term of four years, the gazette notification stated.
    A Holy Cross Priest, Father Patrick Gaffney was born and brought up in the USA. He obtained his MA and PhD degrees in Anthropology from the University of Chicago, BA in Classical and Modern Languages and Literature and MA in Theology from the University of Notre Dame, Indiana, USA.
    With a vast experience of 37 years in teaching, research, and administration at University of Notre Dame, USA, he was also a visiting professor at Dhaka University in 2012-2013.
    On August 8, 2017, Father Patrick was initially appointed as the VC of NDUB by President and Chancellor Md. Abdul Hamid. During his tenure, Fr. Patrick has contributed to the infrastructural and overall development of the university. In January 2023, the university is scheduled to move from current quarters into a newly constructed seven-storey building on its campus. This new facility will allow NDUB to expand current academic programs and to add new departments.
    Notre Dame University Bangladesh was approved by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on April 29, 2013.
