    RPSU CSE Fest-22 held
    The closing ceremony of CSE Fest-2022 was held on the campus of Randa Prasad Shaha University (RPSU) in a splendid and festive atmosphere recently.
    Vice Chancellor of Randa Prasad Shaha University Prof. Dr. Manindra Kumar Roy handed over the prizes to the winners of the competition as the chief guest.
    The program ended with a pleasant cultural program organized by the students of CSE Department of Randa Prasad Shaha University.
    Students of 6 colleges located in Narayanganj and Munshiganj participated in this competition.
    The colleges are Ghiyasuddin Islamic Model College, Bandar Girls School and College, Rampal College, Government Tolaram College, Kadam Rasul College, Narayanganj Womens College and Sonargaon College respectively.
    In order to encourage the youth, R.P. Shaha University organizes this CSE Fest-2022 competition. Among the colleges, the winner of the programming competition was Ghiyasuddin Islamic Model College and the runner-up was Bandar Girls School and College.

    Grameenphone and Northern Education Group sign MoU
    An Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed recently between Grameenphone, Northern Education Group (NEG), country partner of Kotler Impact and Asiatic Mindshare Bangladesh, media partner of Grameenphone, centring a special textbook titled “Essentials of Modern Marketing” (EOMM) by Professor Philip Kotler and his associates is to be written and published in 2022. The journey, which started off as a social enterprise 25 years ago with a vision to empower societies through connectivity and minimize the digital divide and inequalities is today a household name, providing more than just connectivity. The book will illustrate Grameenphone’s success case in Bangladesh in the local edition which will inspire new era marketers to take inspiration from the entrepreneurial mindset and social impact of the company to do great things for the nation going forward.
    The signing ceremony took place at the GP House, where Yasir Azman, CEO, Grameenphone; Mohammad Sajjad Hasib, CMO, Grameenphone; Solaiman Alam, CDSO, Grameenphone; and Nafees Anwar Chowdhury, Head of Marketing, Grameenphone; Zahiduz Zaman, Head of Digital Channel and Distribution, Grameenphone; were present. On behalf of Northern Education Group – Professor Dr. Anwar Hossain, Vice-Chancellor, Northern University Bangladesh (NUB); Prof. Dr. Nazrul Islam, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, NUB; Saad Al Zabir Abdullah, Director, Dept of IT, NUB and Zayed Iqbal Abir, Coordinator of EOMM project; also joined the signing ceremony. As the media agency of Grameenphone, Asiatic Mindshare Ltd. was represented by their Managing Director Morshed Alam, and Executive Director, Tusnuva Ahmed, at the event.
    During the event, Yasir Azman, CEO of Grameenphone expressed his delight and said, “With the ongoing technological advancement in the country, the digital lifestyle of the people is evolving.     RHD, RPSU celebrated Pushkin birth anniv
    Russian House in Dhaka (RHD) and Ranada Prasad Shaha University (RPSU) jointly celebrated the 223rd birth anniversary of the Russian greatest romantic poet and the founder of the modern Russian Literature Alexander Sergeyevich Pushkin on the campus on Monday.
    Kumudini Welfare Trust of Bengal Limited Managing Director and Board of Trustee Chairman Razib Prasad Shaha was present as chief guest.
    Russian House Director Maxim Dobrakhotav was present as special guest while Russian Embassy Deputy Chief of Mission Mrs. Eketerina Semonova was present as guest of honor.
    RPSU Vice Chancellor Professor Monindra Kumar Roy presided over the function.
    Among others, prominent journalist Zahed Reza Nur, Business Administration Departmental Professor Diba Mandal spoke.
    A cultural function was held after the discussion meeting.

    Youth to turn Bangladesh into ‘Sonar Bangla’: Dipu Moni
    Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni on Wednesday hoped that the young will able to turn Bangladesh into ‘Sonar Bangla’ as dreamt by Father of Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
    The minister was addressing the orientation and inaugural function of Blended Learning Solution organized by Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University in Gazipur as chief guest, a press release said.
    Dipu Moni called for creating scopes for the youths in information technology and science to take Bangladesh forward.
    Mentioning that the new education curricula will be launched from next year, she said initiation of educational activities in the new curricula is a big challenge.
    “We have to take courageous steps to face all the challenges,” she said.
    Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Digital University’s Department of Education’s Head (Additional Responsibility) Md Ashrafuzzaman and Head (Acting) of the Department of Information and Communication Technology Farzana Akhter conducted the programme.
    University Registrar (Additional Responsibility) Md Ashraf Uddin also spoke on the occasion, among others.
