Japanese electronics giant Sony is going to manufacture smart television sets in Bangladesh within one year. Sony’s local franchisee Smart Technologies will help to set up five factories at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Hi-Tech Park in Sylhet to produce different electronic products including Sony smart TV sets. Speakers in an official launching ceremony of “Sony Bravia K Series” assured this information. Sony-SMART organised the event held at a city hotel on Wednesday. State Minister for Water Resources Zaheed Farooque was present as the chief guest on the occasion.
