CHATTOGRAM: State Minister for ICT Junaid Ahmed Palak today said the new generation should be innovative and smart as well as entrepreneurs to play an important role in the society.
He said, the parents or teachers have inspired us to become public servants or doctors or engineers from our childhood but Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has created an opportunity for the new generation to become entrepreneurs without running after jobs by implementing Digital Bangladesh, he said adding that an entrepreneur can create numerous jobs and an employee only takes responsibility for one family at best.

Japan to provide $1,500m more for Matarbari power plant

Japan will provide 217,556 million Japanese Yen (JPY) (approximately $1,500 million) more in 7th tranche under the 44th Japanese Loan Package (2nd batch) for the Matarbari Ultra Super Critical Coal-Fired Power Project.
Under the project, Exchange of Notes and Loan Agreement for 7th tranche of Matarbari Ultra Super Critical Coal-fired Power Project under the 44th Japanese ODA Loan Package (2nd batch) were signed today between the Government of Bangladesh and the Government of Japan.

Commerce Minister inspires Mexicans to explore Bangladesh

Commerce Minister Tipu Munshi highlighting various development initiatives of the government has urged Mexicans to explore Bangladesh.
Tipu made the call while addressing a seminar titled "Unleashing Economic Potential: Bridging Bangladesh and Mexico" as the chief guest held yesterday at the prestigious San Ignacio de Loyola Auditorium of Iberoamericana University, said a press release.
The Bangladesh Embassy in Mexico City, in collaboration with Iberoamericana University, hosted the seminar.
