Sabra appointed as Chairman of BAT Bangladesh

Wael Sabra, a seasoned professional serving BAT for 21 years, will succeed Golam Mainuddin as the Chairman of BAT Bangladesh from August 1, 2024. Beginning his career with BAT in 2003, Sabra held numerous senior positions in the company, gaining extensive experience through his work across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia, which has contributed to the company continued success.
Since March 2023, Sabra has served as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Directors at BAT Bangladesh. He is currently the Area Director for BAT Middle East, South Asia, North Africa, Caucasus and Central Asia. Sabra holds a master degree in finance from the University of Florida and a bachelor degree in business administration from the American University of Beirut. He is also a Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

OPPO Releases 2023 Sustainability Report on the World Environment Day

On World Environment Day, the leading global technology company OPPO releases its 2023 Sustainability Report. In its fourth annual report, the company reveals its progress and long-term plan towards sustainability. In 2023, approximately 1.1 million devices were recycled through the Trade-In Service in Chinese market.
