Huawei South Asia Digital Power Department recently hosted a two-day event titled "Huawei Data Center Symposium: Powering the Future of Digital Finance & Enterprises". The symposium was attended by more than 60 distinguished bank customers and 150 enterprise customers, alongside industry luminaries and experts. This customer-centric symposium stands as a pivotal moment, aimed at disseminating knowledge and raising awareness among Bangladeshi customers about cutting-edge data center solutions and the transformative potential of ICT. The event was held recently at the Huawei Bangladesh Academy. The event was graced by Mr. Liang Weixing (Jack), Managing Director of Huawei South Asia Digital Power Business Department, and Liu Jinping (Jimmy) Partner Development Director of APAC Digital Power Partner & Ecosystem Development Department. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between the Sirajganj Economic Zone and Australia Bangladesh Business Forum (ABBF) to attract foreign investment. Under this MoU, the two organizations will work jointly to attract investment from Australia and expatriate Bangladeshis living there in the Sirajganj Economic Zone and other economic zones in Bangladesh. MARRAKESH, Morocco: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has projected the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth for Bangladesh at six percent for the current fiscal 2023-24 (FY24). The IMF also revised upward its projections for Bangladesh growth to six percent for the fiscal year 2022-23 from its previous forecast of 5.5 percent, according to its World Economic Outlook released today.
