Intex to connect local RMG Industries with Global Suppliers

Dhaka is all set to host Intex Bangladesh 2024 with over 200 leading international manufacturers, suppliers and service providers from 7 countries. The only dedicated international textile sourcing show for Bangladesh RMG industry will see all four halls of ICCB packed from 30th May to 1st June 2024.
The expo presents the latest trends in fibers, yarns, fabrics, accessories, and all things textile to unlock new opportunities for export and domestic markets. This year the “Made in India Textiles Pavilion” will showcase over 100 Indian companies ably supported by India two leading industry associations namely TEXPROCIL and PDEXCIL.
The presence of a dedicated “China Pavilion” along with international suppliers from Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, UAE and Sri Lanka will connect the Bangladeshi industry with a network of reliable and quality suppliers.

Calls to protect interests of employers, workers

FBCCI (Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industries) President Mahbubul Alam called on both the government and the employers and workers to plan and work in such a way that the interests of both the employers and workers are protected.
"Workers are the driving force of our economy," said FBCCI President Mahbubul Alam, who participated virtually in the meeting of the Standing Committee on Labor Policy of FBCCI on Saturday afternoon.
FBCCI President said that owners play an important role in achieving economic prosperity of the country. There is extraordinary sincerity among the businessmen or factory owners and workers in our country. However, we have to plan and work in such a way that we can work with compliance with the workers and protect the interests of the owners.

Shomvob raises $1m to transform employment access

Textile & RMG industry is gearing up to witness of Intex

The 14th edition of Intex Bangladesh, the premier international textile sourcing show, begins on 30th May 2024 at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB) in Dhaka.
This international textile sourcing expo connects Bangladesh textiles and garment industry with a range of innovators and suppliers from across the globe. The three-day expo will bring the country finest RMG exporters, local and international brands and sourcing offices together under one roof.
This year more than 200 companies from over 10 countries will showcase the latest trends in fibres, yarns, fabrics, accessories, solutions and services for exports as well as domestic consumption.
