Tuwan wants to become Doctor

Mahira Muntoha (Tuwan) placed sex in merit list of her school, know as Baytun Noor Madrasa, in annual exam.
She wanted to become a Doctor or Engineer for contributing in the society.
Tuwan is the grand daughter of The Shuttle Times Nilphamari Correspondent Journalist Reza Ahmed.
He also hope she makes better result in near future.

ST correspondent elected again as president

The Shuttle Times (ST) Bera Correspondent elected again as president of Bera Press Club and Md. Mohsin Mollick (Daily Dinkal) elected as Secretary. A meeting was held on the club auditorium on Friday. Another 22 members are as, Vice Presidents are Md. Ruhul Amin, Md. Hafizur Rahman, and Md. Musharraf Hussain. Md. Rafiqul Islam Sun and Abuzor Gifari have been appointed as Assistant General Secretaries, while Md. Haroonur Rashid takes on the role of Organizing Secretary. Md. Monsur Mollick serves as Cashier, with Md. Rous Ali as Office Secretary and Md. Rifatul Alom as Sports Secretary. The executive members are Md. Arifur Rahman, Mirza Opu, Md. Shoriful Islam, and Alamgir Kabir Pallab. Other general members include Alok Acharya (Columnist), Sujon Kumar Dutta, Midul Malik, and Md. Nasir Hussain. The advisory board consists of Basanta Das as Chief Advisor, along with Abdullah-Al-Mamun Rokul and Md. Milon Hossain Mintu as Advisors. The reformation aims to enhance the club operations and strengthen journalistic efforts in the region.

Blankets distributed among poor people

Blankets were distributed among the poor and destitute people at Asa Convention Centre in Nilphamari district on Thursday.
Try Foundation organized the program. At least 200 blankets were distributed among the poor and helpless people.
Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Nilphamari district Mohammad Nairuzzaman was present here as a chief guest while Civil Surgeon of Nilphamari Dr. Md. Hasibur Rahman, DEO of Nilphamari Md. Hafizur Rahman, Nilphamari Press Club Ex-President Tahnin Haque Boby and Ex-Secretary Hasan Rabbi Prodhan, Nilphamri Pess Club President Monjurul Alom Siyam attended the programme as the special guest.
Mohammad Nairuzzaman said, “Try Foundation provides various types of assistance to the poor and needy every year. This kind of help and distribution of blankets to the poor and needy deserves praise. I hope their activities will be faster.”
While contacted with Channel i district correspondent Anwarul Alom, he said,
“We arrange this program every year. We believe we will arrange such kind of work in future also. I thank all concerned for concluding the program successfully.”

Drug peddlers arrested

Local thana police arrested four drug peddler with ganja from Sannil Para of the Bera upazila town under Pabna district on Saturday.
Bera Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Morshedul Islam said that upazila administration and narcotic department conducted a mobile court at Sannil Para after with the base of secret information.
He said the arrestees are Nahid Hasan (28), Md. Shirazul Islam (50), Md. Shamim Sardar (24), Md. Rubel (28) of the town.
A case has been filed against them.
