Passing out parade of TRC held in Khulna

KHULNA: A passing out parade marking the closing ceremony of the 56th batch of the trainee recruit constable (TRC) of new 840 cops of 16 districts was held at the parade ground of the Police Training Center (PTC) here today.
Additional IGP (Crime & Operations) Md Atiqul Islam attended the parade as chief guest.

Free eye camp held in Panchagarh

PANCHAGARH: A day-long 37th free eye camp was held at Debiganj Jamir Udiin Dakil Madrasha ground in Debiganj upazila of the district today.
Debiganj Upazila Parishad, Andery Hilfe Bonn Germany and Gousil Azam Bangladesh National Society for Blind (BNSB) Eye Hospital, Dinajpur, have jointly organized the camp like every year.
Municipality Mayor Abu Bakkar Siddik inaugurated the eye camp as the chief guest.

Liton for expediting public health services

RAJSHAHI: Massive awareness among the public in general about traffic rules, regular training for drivers and necessary infrastructure can be the crucial means of preventing road traffic accidents.
There is no way but to raise awareness among the masses to prevent road accidents which is a matter of grave concern.
