4000 meters of current net, boat seized from Halda River in Ctg

CHATTOGRAM: A mobile court of the district administration has seized 4000 meters of current net, various fishing equipments and a boat in a series of drive from North Madarsha, Garduara and Dhalai Union of Hathazari part of the Halda River here this morning.
The mobile court led by Executive Magistrate and Hathazari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) ABM Moshiuzzaman in association with police, fisheries officials and the members of the Integrated Development Foundation (IDF).

Foundation training for 99 firefighters ends in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI: The foundation training course for around 99 newly recruited firefighters of 62nd batch ended here aimed at imparting them with the knowledge and tactics of extinguishing fire and conducting other rescue works.
Fire Service and Civil Defense (FSCD) organized the five-month long foundation training at its Rajshahi Divisional Headquarters.
The closing ceremony of the course was held on the office premises of FSCD Rajshahi divisional headquarter today.

PM to inaugurate 24 dev projects in Khulna on Nov 13

KHULNA: Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is expected to inaugurate 22 development projects and lay foundation stones of 2 development projects in Khulna on November 13.
According to Khulna district administration, the papers of 24 projects have already been sent to Prime Minister office.
Khulna Deputy Commissioner Khondokar Yasir Arefin told BSS today, "Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will inaugurate 22 development projects and lay foundation stones of two others projects involving around TK 391.12 crore from a grand rally to be held at Khulna Circuit House ground on November 13.

Student killed in Pabna road accident

PABNA: A school student was killed and two others were injured in a collision between an engine-run three wheeler (Nosiman) and a motorcycle on the Ishwardi-Pabna highway in Baharpur mor area under Ishwardi upazila of the district today.
The deceased was identified as Mitul Hossain, 15, son of Ismail Hossain, a resident of Athail Shimul village of the upazila. He was a 10th class student of Ishwardi Government Vocational Textile Institute.
