Journo Osman get Jugrotno Award

Daily Swachitro Moitree Editor Professor Osman Goni got the Jugorotno Award for his contribution in journalism sector.
Bangladesh Mofoswal Sangbadik Forum organised the media award. Total 36 Journalists across the country got the media award.
He accorded a reception held at a Coxs Bazar city hotel recently.

Seminar held at Bera

A seminar was held at Pechakola , Bera upazila of Pabna district on SALT project under global fund for children on 19th December.
Welcome speech was delivered by Md. Sohidul Islam, manager (program &fund rising,BRED), Mrs. Humarrya Yesmin Pia (program director, BRED) read out the purpose of SALT at community lebel.
Among others, Md. Wazed Ali, high school teacher, Mr. Wares Ali, local elite spoke on the occasion. Fifteen community leaders were participated the program.
MD. Abdul Hannan, president, Brea press club presided over the program.

FFs accorded reception in Pabna

Bera upazila administration of Pabna district organized a day long programme to observe the victory day.
Bera Upazila Nirbahi Officer Murshidul Islam hoisted the national flag in the morning.
Later, the local freedom fighters were accorded a reception at Muktijoddha complex of the town.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Murshidul Islam presided over the function while Bera Upazila press club president Abdul Hannan was present as special guest.

Anti-Corruption Day held

International Anti-Corruption Day 2024 was celebrated in Bera, Pabna, with various programs, including flag hoisting, a human chain and a discussion session.
On Monday morning, the event was inaugurated at the Upzila Parishad premises by Md. Morshidul Islam, who hoisted the national flag and released pigeons as the chief guest.
Among others, Subol Chandra, secretary, Brea upazila anti corruption prevention committee, Md. Abdul Hannan, president, Brea press Club, Dr. MD. Mizanur Rohman, UNO ,Bera spoke on the occasion.
All the speakers were unanimous to eradicate this social pathology from the society.
Another meeting was held on international repression day against women and Begum Rokeya Day -2024.
