Almost 1,000 killed in Israel war with Hamas

JERUSALEM: The death toll surged to almost 1,000 since Palestinian militant group Hamas launched its massive surprise attack on Israel with a barrage of rockets and a large-scale ground assault, officials on both sides said Sunday.
The conflict worst escalation in decades has claimed more than 600 lives on the Israeli side, the government press office said, while Gaza officials reported at least 370 deaths, with thousands more wounded on each side.

The government has given permission to five companies for importing five crore pieces of more eggs to bring stability in the market and also to enhance sufficient supply of this essential item in the kitchen market.
Talking to BSS, public relations officer of the Ministry of Commerce M Haider Ali said that the government has given permission to five companies and enterprises afresh to import one crore pieces of eggs by each company and thus totaling the number to five crore.

At least 200 killed in Gaza in conflict with Israel: ministry

GAZA CITY, Palestinian Territories: At least 200 people were killed in Gaza on Saturday, the health ministry in the Palestinian enclave said, after Hamas militants fired a barrage of rockets into Israel which responded with air strikes.
The ministry said up until 4:20 pm (1320 GMT) there were "198 martyrs and 1,610 wounded with different injuries" in the conflict.
