
The prices of fuel in Bangladesh will remain unchanged for March 2025, as per the latest directive from the Energy and Mineral Resources Division.
Despite fluctuations in the global market, the government has decided to maintain the existing pricing structure to ensure a stable and affordable supply of fuel for consumers.
Under the current pricing framework, the retail prices per litre will continue as follows:
Diesel: Tk 105.00
Kerosene: Tk 105.00
Octane: Tk 126.00
Petrol: Tk 122.00

The Ministry of Liberation War Affairs has
published a gazette notification recognising 493 individuals injured in the July mass uprising as July Warriors.
The ministry issued the gazette on Thursday categorising 493 critically injured individuals under Category A.
The gazette, signed by Deputy Secretary of the Ministry Haridas Thakur, has been published under the schedule-1 (Allocation of Business) of the Rules of Business, 1996 of the ministry.
The gazette includes the medical case IDs, names, parents names and permanent addresses of the very severely injured protesters.
On January 15, a list of 834 martyrs from the mass uprising was published through a gazette.

he National Citizen Party (NCP), new political platform of the students spearheaded the mass uprising last year, was officially launched today vowing to pursue the politics of national unity over division and to materialize the vision for a second republic.
July martyr Ismail Hossain Rabbi sister Mim Akhter announced the top leadership of the central committee of the NCP at the inauguration rally this evening at Manik Mia Avenue in front of the National Parliament Building in the capital.
Just-resigned interim government adviser Nahid Islam made convener of the party with Akhter Hossen as member Secretary. Akhter Hossen was serving as the member secretary of the Jatiya Nagorik Committee, the civic platform led by the July uprising leaders.
Convener of the party Nahid Islam read out the declaration of the party outlining a transformative political and economic roadmap for Bangladesh, which will begin with writing a new constitution.
In its official declaration, the party announced its mission to adopt a new democratic constitution aimed at dismantling constitutional autocracy in the country political system.

Nasiruddin Patwari, convenour of Jatiya Nagorik committee, has been appointed as the chief coordinator with Abdul Hannan Masud as joint coordinator.
Hasnat Abdullah has been designated as the chief organiser (Southern Region), while Sarjis Alam has been assigned the role of chief organiser (Northern Region).

Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh executive president Major (retd) Abdul Mannan, Bangladesh LDP secretary general Shahadat Hossain Selim, Khelafat Majlis leader Ahmed Abdul Quader, Development Party chairman AKM Azharul Islam, AB Party leader Didarul Alam, and Jamaat Dhaka city south Ameer Nurul Islam Bulbul also attended the event.
Vatican City Ambassador to Bangladesh Kevin S Randall Kevin S. Randall and Pakistan High Commission Counselor Kamran Dhangal attended the function.

Disbursement of the dues of the workers of 14 closed industrial units under Beximco Industrial Park will begin on March 9, said Labour and Employment Adviser Brig Gen (Retd) M Sakhawat Hossain on Thursday.
He said this at a press conference after attending a meeting of the Advisory Council Committee on Labour and Business Situation Review of Industries at Beximco Industrial Park.
He said Beximco Industrial Park will require Tk 525.46 crore to clear the outstanding payments of employees from 14 closed industrial units.
Earlier, on February 12 the adviser said that the government would pay outstanding dues of Beximco Industrial Parks workers before Ramadan.
