
Chief Adviser Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam today said money launderers are still spreading propaganda abroad.
He said during the ousted Awami League era, the biggest looting in the world history took place in Bangladesh.
"Sheikh Hasina established a system of thievery in the country...Her job was to provide work orders to big companies in exchange of money," Alam alleged saying that those who laundered money abroad are now spreading propaganda spending the ill-gotten money.
Shafiqul Alam made the remarks at a discussion titled The Role of the Media in the July Revolution and Future Expectations at Jagannath University here.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir today urged all to stay patient and united in realizing the dream of a new Bangladesh and not to take any wrong decision hastily.

“We have been able to free Bangladesh from fascism through united efforts. Then why can not we truly build a new state with new possibilities? Let us all be united and realize our dream,” he said.
Noting that some people are trying to create a rift in the unity of the mass uprising, the BNP Secretary General said, “There is no division here.

Head of Labour Reform Commission Syed Sultan Uddin Ahmed today said his commission has been working relentlessly to submit its recommendations by February 18, the time fixed by the government.
Talking to BSS, he said the commission has already exchanged views with the representatives of nearly 200 organisations and institutions in 40 view exchange meetings since its inception.
He however, said the commission is working to ensure the basic rights of all institutional and informal workers.
